Colani at the Design Museum
Colani's 'Translating nature' exhibition from 3rd March to 17th June
07. This is a very interesting exhibition showing organic designs for
motorbikes cars and even a tea service. A must see…..and don't forget
to visit the café for coffee and cake….www.designmuseum.org

The De La Warr Pavilion Bexhill

The De La Warr Pavilion is a Grade One listed Modernist building situated
on the coast of Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex. The building has reopened
and has the terrace restaurant overlooking the sea which is well worth
a try.Twice a month on alternate Sundays, you can join a fascinating
tour of our unique building. Cost £4. Booking required (lasts
approximately 1 hour).

Serpentine Gallery
American artist Paul Chan has achieved much international acclaim for
his animations and installations that blend a novel drawing aesthetic
with philosophical reflections on politics, war and life in the present

Royal Academy Summer Exhibition
It will soon be time for the next summer exhibition and I have entered
two black ink drawings on tracing paper this year form some drawings
I made for a project in Zagreb, Croatia. Although I was short listed
last year the drawings weren't hung so maybe this year will be our year!!!

Architecture week
Architect in the House
Object architecture is again participating in architect in the house
and has done so since the scheme was setup. Dates to be announced.
RIBA Architect in the House, a part of Architecture Week 2005, partners
people around the country with local architects, to discuss design ideas
for changes to their homes. RIBA registered architects give their time
for free and in return you will be asked to make a minimum donation
of £25 to Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity
Nigel
